A 10 minute drive from the airport, takes you to Saigon-Phu Quoc Resort. The resort is set amongst 24 acres, and offers a secluded private beach and a wonderful
swimming pool. Saigon-Phu Quoc Resort comprises 12 exquisite colonial-style bungalows and villas,
including 38 well-appointed guestrooms with private terrace. Fine dining is provided at the resort’s Paradise
restaurant, which serves local and international dishes, and the pool bar offers an array of delicious snacks
and beverages.Saigon-Phu Quoc Resort also provides sauna, steam bath, massage and karaoke club.
The 12 seaside villas are the best bet. They ring a beautiful swimming pool which is the resorts courtyard
centerpiece, giving the main building a French colonial-style mansion feel. The service here couldnt be
friendlier and efficient, surprising for a recently-opened state-owned enterprise. Other amenities include a
karaoke club, massage parlor, direct dial phone, private balconies, hot water and satellite TV. Once this places
settles a bit on its foundation and works some of the kinks out, itll do a booming business. But it still wont
quite fit into Phu Quocs raggedy, laid-back ambiance

About Duong Dong:
Duong Dong, where the airport is located, offers delicious seafood and a colourful market. At the mouth of the Duong Dong River sits Dinh Cau Rock, home to a small Buddhist shrine erected in the 1930s.
Located 36 miles (58km) east of Haiphong, Phu Quoc is called the Emerald Island and is the largest Vietnamese island in the Gulf of Thailand. The southwest coast of this 48-km-long island features some of the finest coconut palm-lined beaches to be found in Vietnam. Part of an archipelago of 22 islands in this picturesque area.
